Senior Product Executive plays a pivotal role in supporting product planning, vendor management, and inventory control to ensure the right product assortment is available across all retail and online channels. This position requires strong coordination skills, attention to detail, and the ability to collaborate effectively with marketing, sales, and operations teams to deliver impactful merchandising strategies that drive sales and elevate the customer experience.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in planning and developing product assortments aligned with customer needs, market trends, and company objectives.
  • Conduct market research and competitor benchmarking to support product selection, pricing, and positioning decisions.
  • Provide recommendations on product mix, reorders, and clearance strategies for slow‑moving items.
  • Liaise closely with suppliers to track order status, manage timelines, and ensure timely product delivery.
  • Assist in negotiating product terms, resolving issues, and maintaining accurate vendor records and documentation.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers to support sustainable business growth.
  • Monitor stock levels and prepare regular inventory and sales performance reports.
  • Identify risks such as stock shortages or overstocks, and support replenishment planning accordingly.
  • Work closely with the supply chain team to ensure optimal product availability across all channels.
  • Support the execution of new product launches, seasonal campaigns, and promotional initiatives.
  • Collaborate with marketing, operations, and sales teams to ensure smooth implementation of merchandising activities.
  • Track project progress, prepare status reports, and assist in resolving issues to meet timelines.
  • Collect and analyze sales and market data to evaluate product performance and identify growth opportunities.
  • Prepare concise reports and presentations for management review.
  • Provide actionable insights and recommendations to enhance product and merchandising strategies.

Job Requirements

  • Degree or Diploma in Business, Marketing, Retail Management, or a related field.
  • 2–4 years of experience in merchandising, buying, or product‑related roles.
  • Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills with proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with vendors and internal stakeholders.
  • Detail‑oriented, well‑organized, and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment.
