Job Responsibilities

• Policy, Compliance & Audits - Responsible for inspecting and updating SHE policies, ensuring documentation and communication meet regulatory standards. Supports internal audits, updates procedures as needed and inspects operational processes to maintain compliance. Prepares and submits SHE reports to management and retains records according to organisational requirements.
• Programme Planning & Training - Plans and organises SHE programmes. Conducts contractor inductions and monitors compliance. Leads emergency preparedness efforts through drills with BOMBA and updates evacuation layouts and ERT charts.
• Risk Management & Assessments - Implements and monitors risk assessments. Manage ISO45001 : 2018, Operation Clean Sweep, Green Procurement and other compliances through regular documentation and follow-up.
• Incident Handling & Committee Coordination - Investigates incidents and implements corrective actions. Acts as secretary for the SHE Committee, organising meetings, minutes, and ensuring timely reporting and action tracking.
• Workplace Monitoring & Inspections - Conducts safety patrols and GEMBA walks with management. Organises inspections of machines, equipment, and emergency tools, and checks of fire-fighting systems. Coordinates maintenance for Certificate of Fitness machines.
• Data Management & Reporting - Records and analyses data from feedback and incident rates to evaluate SHE performance. Manages scheduled waste inventory, eSWIS data entry, and arranging waste collection. Assists with RoHS and REACH compliance documentation and prepares records for Management Review Meetings.
• Regulatory & Authority Liaison - Handles MyKKP applications. Liaises with local authorities during inspections, audits, and investigations related to SHE matters. Manages PPE procurement, inventory updates, and issuance records in line with DOSH and DOE standards.
