Overview

Prepare and present compelling customer-facing presentations and participate in commercial activities; assist with general customer demonstrations, training and support. Identify and collaborate with key customers to enable development of key applications and to generate scientific publications where necessary. Internal collaboration in defining application workflows (from sample to report) for the latest genomics applications. Serve as an effective bridge between customers and the Sales team. Coordinate new installations, including facility inspections, instrument validation, and customer training. Troubleshoot issues related to molecular biology, users' technical skills, assay design, software and instruments. Responsible for technical and application support covering Myanmar and Nepal territories. Develop an application roadmap for NGS applications, including development of strategies that maximize adoption of these applications.

Responsibilities

Qualifications

Possess Master or PhD Degree in Biotechnology, Molecular Biology, Microbiology or Genetics Field.

Possess prior field experience supporting customers using sequencing, expression or genotyping technologies.

Demonstrated experience with instrumentation handling such as sequencers and optical scanners.

A customer-facing personality with the ability to build positive relationships and engage in scientific discussions with customers.

Demonstrated active listening, good presentation, and training skills.

Clear vision and commitment to providing outstanding customer service.

Outstanding problem solving and interpersonal skills.

Highly motivated and able to work in a fast-paced, multidisciplinary, and collaborative environment.

A team player.

Possesses own transport and are willing to travel, even on short notices.
