Job Title : Data Developer / Data Development Lead

Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Data Developer (or Data Development Lead) with strong expertise in database development, ETL tools, and scripting. The ideal candidate will work closely with cross‑functional teams to design, develop, and optimize data solutions, ensuring high performance, reliability, and data integrity across platforms.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain data pipelines, ETL processes, and integration workflows.
  • Write and optimize SQL queries, stored procedures, and scripts across MS SQL databases.
  • Work with IBM Datastage for ETL development and data transformation.
  • Utilize MS SQL utilities such as BCP for data extraction, import, and migration.
  • Collaborate using GitHub for version control and code management.
  • Work within Agile tools and platforms including ServiceNow, Confluence, and Jira.
  • Troubleshoot production issues and support data operations where needed.
  • Lead and guide junior team members (for Lead role).

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Strong hands‑on experience with SQL, stored procedures, and MS SQL Server.
  • Proficient in Linux shell scripting.
  • Solid experience with IBM Datastage and MS SQL utilities (e.g., BCP).
  • Familiarity with ServiceNow, Confluence, Jira, and GitHub.
  • Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills.
  • Experience mentoring or leading a team (for Lead role).
