Key Responsibilities
1. Contract Administration
- Review contract documents, drawings, specifications, and tender submissions to identify contractual requirements and obligations.
- Prepare, compile, and maintain all contractual correspondence, records, and documentation.
- Assist in drafting, reviewing, and issuing letters, contract agreements, variation orders, and other contractual documents.
2. Commercial & Cost Management
Monitor project costs and ensure alignment with budgets and contractual terms.Assist in preparing cost analysis, claims, progress payment applications, and final accounts.Support in evaluating subcontractor quotations, preparing comparison reports, and contract award recommendations.3. Claims & Variations
Support the preparation and submission of variation orders, extension of time (EOT) claims, and other contractual claims.Track contract deliverables and ensure timely follow-up with clients, consultants, and subcontractors.4. Compliance & Risk Management
Ensure compliance with company policies, legal requirements, and contractual obligations.Highlight potential contractual and commercial risks to management and propose mitigation measures.5. Coordination & Support
Liaise with clients, consultants, suppliers, and subcontractors on contractual and commercial matters.Work closely with project, engineering, and finance teams to ensure alignment between contract terms and project execution.Support internal reporting requirements and provide regular updates on contract status.Qualifications & Requirements
Bachelor's Degree / Diploma in Quantity Surveying, Contract Management, Construction Management, Business Administration, or related field.2–4 years of working experience in contract administration, preferably in construction, precast, or manufacturing industry.Knowledge of construction contracts, tendering process, and commercial practices.Strong analytical, negotiation, and documentation skills.Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint); familiarity with ERP systems is an added advantage.Good command of English and Bahasa Malaysia (spoken & written).Detail-oriented, organized, and able to work under pressure to meet deadlines.Job Type : Permanent
