Production Engineer

Penerangan pekerjaanDegree (Mechanical or Mechatronics Engineering) & above. At least 3 years' experience in manufacturing of machine components (Automation machine in Food Industry). Experience in Industrial Automation Machine Design, Jigs & Fixtures Proficient in 3D CAD software (Inventor, preferred). Proficient in Microsoft Office. Project management capability is preferred. Familiar with manufacturing process like laser cutting, bending, machining & etc. Able to work independently, is responsible and a team player with good work ethics and attitude. Superb analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills. Ability to make decisions under pressure. International travel as be required with the potential of multiple overnight stays and weekend and evening disruption. Visit customer's sites / plants when needed to do discussion or measurement.
Responsibilities :
- Supervising the manufacturing processes, ensuring quality work is done in a safe, efficient manner.
- Liaising with other departments to develop plans that improve production, costs, and labour required.
- Diagnosing problems in the production department and providing recommendations and training.
- Establishing safety procedures and protocols that take the workers' well-being into account.
- Keeping abreast of advancements in engineering and production and sharing knowledge with co-workers.
- Identifying, documenting, and reporting unsafe practices.
- Drawing up production schedules and budgets for projects.
- Scheduling meetings with relevant departments and stakeholders.
- Analysing all facets of production and making recommendations for improvement.
- Obtaining any materials and equipment required.
