About the role

As a Site Supervisor (Construction) you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations and execution of construction projects in Papar District, Sabah. This is a full-time position that requires a hands-on approach to ensure the successful delivery of high-quality construction projects within set timelines and budgets.

What you'll be doing

  • Coordinating and supervising construction activities on site, including monitoring progress, quality, and safety standards
  • Liaising with project managers, subcontractors, and other stakeholders to ensure effective communication and collaboration
  • Identifying and addressing any issues or challenges that arise during the construction process
  • Ensuring compliance with relevant building regulations, industry standards, and company policies
  • Maintaining accurate records and documentation related to the construction project
  • Providing daily updates and reports to the project management team
  • Assisting in the planning and coordination of construction schedules and resource allocation

What we're looking for

  • Minimum 3 years of experience as a Site Supervisor or in a similar construction management role
  • Knowledge of construction materials, methods, and best practices in the civil / structural engineering industry
  • Strong problem-solving, decision-making, and conflict resolution skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively liaise with various stakeholders
  • Ability to read and interpret construction plans, specifications, and technical drawings
  • Proficiency in project management software and tools
  • Certification or diploma in civil / structural engineering or a related field would be an advantage
