SENIOR STORE SALES SUPERVISOR (MARU) – Bison Consolidated Berhad
We are looking for a Senior Store Sales Supervisor to oversee store operations and lead the crew in a café / retail environment. This role focuses on delivering excellent customer service, managing daily operations, supervising staff, and ensuring adherence to SOPs and company guidelines.
Responsibilities
- Customer Service Excellence : provide exceptional customer service by greeting guests warmly, processing orders accurately, addressing concerns, following SOPs for consistent high-quality service, and resolving complaints promptly and professionally.
- Beverage and Food Preparation : prepare and serve coffee and other beverages according to HQ recipes and SOPs; ensure items meet quality and presentation standards; maintain cleanliness and proper operation of beverage equipment.
- Crew Supervision : ensure adequate staffing through managing the outlet schedule and monitoring attendance; supervise and support crew during shifts; provide training and ongoing guidance; monitor performance and provide feedback to maintain high standards.
- Operational Management : oversee daily café operations, including opening / closing procedures; manage cash transactions and operate the register in accordance with company policies; work with Store Manager on cash management tasks and financial reporting.
- Stock Take and Inventory Management : conduct daily stock takes, reconcile counts with records, manage inventory control, ordering, and restocking to ensure smooth operations and accurate records; ensure sufficient stock and that equipment is in good condition; avoid over-ordering and expired / damaged goods.
- Reporting and Issue Resolution : collaborate with the Store Manager to identify operational issues, document equipment malfunctions or shortages, and implement effective solutions.
- Compliance and Maintenance : ensure adherence to health and safety regulations and sanitation standards per SOPs; conduct regular checks of equipment and facilities; maintain accurate records of inventory, sales, and staff hours.
- Ad hoc Tasks : assist with tasks as assigned by superiors from time to time.
Qualifications
Experience : Minimum 2-3 years in a café or food service environment, with at least 1 year in a supervisory or senior role.Skills : Proficient in following SOPs for beverage and food preparation; strong leadership, customer service, and communication skills; experience in inventory management and stocktaking.Education : High school diploma or equivalent required; additional training in food handling, barista skills, or hospitality management is a plus.Attributes : Friendly, approachable, able to handle high-pressure situations; strong organizational skills; attention to detail and accuracy in stock and cash management.Seniority level
