To support this vision, we are seeking a talented individual to lead the creation of a best-in-class developer portal and deliver world-class documentation.
Role Overview
As the Head of Developer Experience and Documentation, you will be responsible for designing and building a comprehensive developer portal that serves as the central hub for all API and SDK resources. You will create and oversee the development of clear, concise, and engaging content, empowering developers to seamlessly integrate with our platform. This role is critical to ensuring developers succeed in building with our tools.
Key Responsibilities
- Developer Portal Creation : Lead the strategy, design, and implementation of a developer portal featuring tutorials, guides, and interactive tools for using our APIs and SDKs.
- Content Development : Write, edit, and manage technical documentation, including API references, integration guides, SDK usage examples, and troubleshooting resources.
- Collaborate Across Teams : Work closely with product, engineering, and design teams to understand developer needs and translate complex concepts into simple, actionable content.
- Developer Enablement : Build onboarding experiences and sample applications to showcase the potential of our platform.
- Tools and Standards : Define tools, processes, and best practices for documentation, ensuring consistency and quality across all materials.
- Feedback Integration : Engage with the developer community to gather feedback, identify pain points, and iterate on content and resources.
- Evangelize the Platform : Advocate for the platform through blogs, webinars, videos, and other developer-focused content.
- Team Leadership : Potentially build and lead a team of technical writers or developer advocates as the developer ecosystem grows.
