Senior Sales Engineer - Mechanical Background (Remote)
Our Client :
We are partnering with a Swiss based MNC that specializes in engineering coating solutions. The company is expanding their Malaysia operations and looking for a Senior Sales Engineer as part of their strategic growth.
Responsibilities
- Act as the main point of contact for both existing and new customers, providing technical consultation and commercial support.
- Build and maintain long‑term business relationships through regular customer visits, product presentations, and solution proposals.
- Identify new business opportunities by understanding customer needs and market trends, while maintaining strong growth with existing accounts.
- Conduct technical discussions to address customer challenges, propose appropriate solutions, and support after‑sales issues when required.
- Prepare and follow up on quotations, ensuring timely and accurate communication with customers.
- Document all customer activities and progress in CRM systems and maintain detailed visit and action reports.
- Collaborate closely with internal departments including engineering, quality, operations, and regional / global technical teams to ensure successful project execution.
- Monitor market developments and competitor activities to develop counter‑strategies and maintain a competitive edge.
- Participate in exhibitions, marketing activities, and industry events to enhance company visibility and strengthen customer engagement.
