Overview
We are seeking a highly analytical and strategic Global Pricing Strategist to develop, implement, and manage our worldwide pricing initiatives. This role is pivotal in maximizing profitability for our overseas business, enhancing market competitiveness, and supporting sustainable growth across all regions and product lines. The ideal candidate will be an expert in pricing analytics, value-based pricing, and cross-functional leadership, capable of translating complex data into actionable global strategies.
Responsibilities
- Strategy Development : Formulate and execute a cohesive global pricing strategy aligned with the company's overall financial and strategic objectives. Account for regional variations in market dynamics, willingness-to-pay, competitive landscape, and regulatory environments.
- Market & Competitive Analysis : Conduct ongoing analysis of market trends, competitor pricing strategies in different regions, and customer value perception to identify opportunities and threats. Utilize research to inform pricing decisions.
- Value-Based Pricing : Lead initiatives to define and quantify the value proposition of our products / services. Develop pricing models that capture this value effectively across different customer segments, regions, and product lines.
- Price Setting & Governance : Establish and maintain a global price architecture, including list prices by customer tiers, products, and funding channels, and discounting guidelines. Ensure consistency and governance while allowing for necessary regional flexibility.
- Data Analytics & Modeling : Build sophisticated financial models to analyze pricing elasticity, forecast the impact of pricing changes on revenue and margin, and model different pricing scenarios.
- Cross-Functional Leadership : Partner closely with sales, finance, and regional leadership to gather insights, secure buy-in, and ensure flawless execution of pricing strategies.
- Product Development : Work with the product team to develop new features to realize the pricing strategy.
- Performance Monitoring : Track and report on key pricing performance indicators (KPIs) such as price realization, discount rates, win / loss analysis, and margin by segment. Provide regular reporting and insights to senior leadership.
- Training & Enablement : Develop training materials and conduct sessions to enable Sales and Customer Success teams on the value story and pricing policies.
Requirements
Fluent in English, Mandarin proficiency is highly preferred3+ years of progressive experience in pricing strategy, management consulting, corporate strategy, investment banking, or a related analytical field.Experience in banking or payment industries is highly preferredExcellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.Excellent financial modeling and data analysis skills.Seniority level
