We are looking for a talented and proactive Part II Design Architect to join our growing team. This role focuses primarily on front-end design, where creativity, concept development, and presentation skills are key, but also involves supporting project coordination and management tasks throughout the design and development process.

You will collaborate closely with internal teams, consultants, and clients to deliver thoughtful and practical design solutions, ensuring a smooth transition from concept to execution.

Responsibilities :

  • Develop innovative design concepts and solutions based on project briefs and site context.
  • Prepare presentation drawings, 3D visuals, and diagrams to effectively communicate design ideas.
  • Participate in design reviews, coordination meetings, and client presentations.
  • Assist in preparing reports, submissions, and authority documentation.
  • Collaborate with project architects, technical teams, and consultants to develop and refine designs.
  • Support basic project management tasks — including tracking timelines, deliverables, and coordination.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant codes, standards, and local authority requirements.
  • Stay informed on architectural trends, sustainable design, and new materials / technologies.

Requirement :

  • Candidate must possess at least a recognized degree in Architecture equivalent to LAM PART 2
  • Preferable with at least 2 years of experience in architectural design, ideally with some exposure to project coordination.
  • Strong conceptual thinking and design sensibility with a keen eye for detail and aesthetics.
  • Proficient in design and presentation tools : AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, Rhino, Lumion, Enscape, Adobe Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator.
  • Knowledge of local building regulations and planning procedures.
  • Excellent communication skills – both verbal and written.
  • Strong organizational and time-management abilities; able to handle multiple tasks under deadlines.
  • Collaborative, self-motivated, and eager to grow into a leadership role.
  • Fluency in English and Bahasa Malaysia is required
  • Mandarin / Cantonese will be a bonus (for dealing with the China market)
