Overview

Supplier Enablement Specialist I (12 months contract) - (Global Business Services). Join to apply for this role at Kimberly-Clark.

Responsibilities

  • Confirm and collect supplier contacts, working with local, regional and global category managers
  • Communicate the global supplier portal requirements and timeline to suppliers to obtain supplier buy-in to onboard as Catalogue Supplier
  • Support supplier segmentation analysis
  • Develop working knowledge of the supplier portal to enable seamless onboarding and to empower the ability to answer questions
  • Serve as the supplier point of contact
  • Require increasing 10% of the Catalogue Supplier based on Y2023 / 24 catalogue number
  • Support creation of the supplier documentation
  • Track and report phases of onboarding for each vendor contacted
  • Track and report total vendor conversions completed
  • Collaborate with other functional areas to overcome vendor objections
  • Resolve issues, concerns, or questions related to the new platform
  • Escalate concerns to appropriate leader or decision maker
  • Help design process and knowledge transfer documentation

Qualifications / Education / Experience Required

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in Business, Finance, Supply Chain or related fields
  • 2-3 years of commercial and purchasing experience; preferably in a shared services or global environment
  • Knowledge of Procure-To-Pay processes is preferable
  • Organized with strong attention to detail, analytical / problem-solving skills, and good decision-making; interpersonal skills
  • Excellent oral and written communication in English and Chinese
  • Analytical and data maintenance skills
  • Software competency in MS Excel
  • SAP system knowledge
  • Technical understanding of Finished Goods / Trading Goods is preferable
  • Proactive, able to work under pressure and independently; high sense of responsibility
