About the role

We are seeking an experienced Land Surveyor to join our team at UKUR TANAH JAZ' in Petaling Jaya, Selangor. As a Land Surveyor, you will play a crucial role in supporting our land-related projects and ensuring accurate measurements and data collection. This is a full-time position that offers opportunities for professional development and growth within our dynamic organisation.

What you'll be doing

  • Conducting land surveys, Utility Detection Survey and measurements using various surveying equipment and techniques
  • Producing detailed survey plans, Utility Detection Plans, maps, and reports
  • Interpreting survey data and assisting with the design and planning of land development projects
  • Collaborating with other professionals, such as engineers and project managers, to ensure the successful completion of land-related projects
  • Maintaining and calibrating surveying equipment to ensure accuracy and reliability
  • Complying with relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards related to land surveying
  • Providing technical guidance and support to junior team members

What we're looking for

  • Degree or Diploma in Surveying, Geomatics, or a related engineering field
  • Minimum 0-5 years of experience as a Land Surveyor, preferably in the construction or real estate industry
  • Proficient in the use of surveying equipment, such as total stations, GPS, and levelling instruments
  • Strong technical skills in land surveying, Utility Survey, and data analysis
  • Excellent problem-solving and critical thinking abilities
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams
  • Familiarity with relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards related to land surveying
  • Valid driver's license and ability to travel to project sites as needed
