Job Description
- Lead the implementation of MFRS17 accounting standards across the organisation.
- Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting in compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align financial processes with MFRS17 standards.
- Provide expert guidance on technical accounting matters related to the insurance industry.
- Analyse and interpret financial data to support decision-making and strategic planning.
- Develop and maintain internal controls to ensure compliance and mitigate risks.
- Prepare detailed reports and presentations for senior management and stakeholders.
- Stay updated on industry trends and regulatory changes impacting financial reporting.
The Successful Applicant
A successful Finance Manager - MFRS17 should have :
A degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.Professional accounting qualifications such as ACCA, CPA, or equivalent is a plus.Strong knowledge of MFRS17 and its application in the insurance industry.Demonstrated experience in financial reporting and compliance roles.Proficiency in financial systems and tools, with a focus on accuracy and efficiency.Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.Effective communication skills to liaise with stakeholders and present findings.What’s on Offer
