Role Purpose :

The Purchasing Executive is responsible for executing procurement activities, ensuring timely sourcing of materials, goods, and services at the best value without compromising quality. This role involves vendor management, cost analysis, and ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Source, negotiate, and purchase materials, goods, and services in line with company requirements.
  • Evaluate supplier quotations to ensure best pricing, delivery terms, and quality standards.
  • Maintain and update approved supplier / vendor database.
  • Issue purchase orders (PO) and ensure timely delivery of goods and services.
  • Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with relevant departments for procurement planning.
  • Assist in developing cost-saving strategies and alternative sourcing options.
  • Ensure compliance with company purchasing policies and procedures.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers to ensure reliability and long-term cooperation.
  • Resolve issues related to delivery delays, quality concerns, or pricing discrepancies.
  • Prepare purchasing reports and assist in budget monitoring.

Requirements :

  • Diploma / Degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain, Procurement, or related field.
  • Minimum 2–3 years of relevant working experience in purchasing / procurement.
  • Strong negotiation and communication skills.
  • Knowledge of procurement processes, sourcing, and vendor management.
  • Proficient in MS Office applications and purchasing systems (ERP knowledge is an advantage).
  • Good organizational and multitasking skills with attention to detail.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
  • Team player with strong sense of responsibility and integrity.
  • Compulsory to have Mandarin

    • Preferred Attributes :

  • Experience in FMCG, manufacturing, or trading environment is an advantage.
  • Strong analytical skills for cost comparison and reporting.
  • Proactive in problem-solving and process improvement.

    Pay : RM2, RM4,000.00 per month
