New Product Development (Coffee R&D) / Assistant Manager
- Create and enhance drinks menu that fill a niche in the competitive F&B market.
- Responsible to develop new coffee based on market trend, sales data, operation effectiveness and customer demography.
- Conduct idea generation sessions to initiate the creation of new coffee varieties that align with company goals and objectives.
- Establish costing information for new and revised formulation.
- Conduct comprehensive market and consumer research to identify emerging trends, technologies, and opportunities for new product development.
- Gather, analyze, and maintain product, market, and technology trend information and come out with feasibility report to ensure products are always viable and competitive.
- Identify and evaluate potential suppliers, partners, and external resources to support research and development initiatives.
- Responsible for the upkeep of product SOP.
Qualifications & Experience
Minimum 2 years of work experience in F&B chain / retail or F&B product development (coffee-related industry will be an added advantage).Ability to conceptualize and execute new method development.Possess good sensory skills for product bench-marking and development.Good interest and knowledge in ingredient formulation and development.Computer literate - proficient with Microsoft Office & Excel, other relevant software and application.Good command of written and spoken in Mandarin, Bahasa Malaysia and English.Good interpersonal skills and ability to communicate with all levels, internally and externally, in an effective and responsive manner.#J-18808-Ljbffr
