YOU ARE

An experienced financial analyst who possesses expertise in record to report (RTR) processes with ability to meet tight deadlines, ideally with two years and above of working experience in handling bank reconciliations and journal posting.

THE ROLE

  • Manage and handle the following RTR / General accounting related tasks across APAC in an efficient and timely manner to ensure compliance with the relevant policies, procedures, and Financial controls :
  • i. Reconciliations
  • Reconcile various trial balance accounts, including but not limited to cash accounts, prepaid expenses, assets, intercompany accounts, and miscellaneous accruals.
  • Prepare bank and balance sheet reconciliation, investigate, and address any discrepancies.
  • Maintain fixed assets register listing and ensure depreciation is calculated and captured correctly.
  • ii. Data preparation for indirect taxes return
  • Assist with preparation of data and work papers.
  • Document and communicate abnormal tax expenses to management.
  • iii. Journal preparation
  • Prepare, review, park, or post journals in General ledgers.
  • Ensure accurate and timely delivery of General accounting related tasks.
  • Contribute to process performance evaluations, efficiency assessments and audits as needed.
  • Act as point of contact for complex RTR issues and provide guidance to junior team members.
  • Actively participate in task migration, system testing, and knowledge transfer to ensure smooth process transitions.
  • Create and update manuals and working guides as needed to ensure all processes are properly documented and reflect any approved procedural changes.
  • Assist in training and reviewing the work of new joiners to ensure they meet the required competencies upon completion of their training.
  • Assist with monthly quality checks as needed.
  • Demonstrate ownership and initiative in developing both technical and soft skills, while continuously seeking self-improvement through the enhancement of practices and processes.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned by your manager or other appropriate officers.
  • Ensure compliance with all legal, statutory, and corporate affairs requirements.
  • Adhere and demonstrate behaviour with Liberty core values and Processing Services Team culture attributes.

  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Accounting and Finance or equivalent work experience.
  • Minimum 2 years of relevant work experience in a finance role, ideally in a shared service environment.
  • Experience in RTR or General accounting process.
  • Knowledge and experience of general ledgers and finance systems (SAP or Concur is desirable).
  • Proficient in English (spoken and written).
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, including Microsoft Excel, Outlook, and Teams.
