About Tenby Tropicana Aman : Tenby Tropicana Aman opened in 2018 and is on a purpose-built campus in a green setting in Tropicana Aman, just outside Kuala Lumpur.     Secondary EAL And English Teacher – Key Responsibilities

  • Uphold the School’s Vision, Mission and Core Values.
  • Take full responsibility for English Language teaching and integration of EAL students with little or no English into the mainstream curriculum.
  • Equip EAL students with English vocabulary, oral and writing skills.
  • Collaborate with parents, class, and subject teachers to support EAL students’ needs.
  • Develop and implement EAL Teaching and Improvement / Development Plans.
  • Analyse assessment data to measure EAL students’ progress.
  • Demonstrate a growth mindset and adaptability.
  • Possess knowledge and experience of assessment and tracking, including standardised tests.
  • Deliver INSET / training to staff as part of the CPD programme.
  • Support the school in developing greater impact on learning practices.
  • Have sound knowledge of the National Curriculum for England and current educational thinking.
  • Be an excellent practitioner, self-starter and team player with strong time management and communication skills.
  • Contribute to the wider school community.

    • Line Management

    The Secondary EAL and English Teacher will report to the Head of Secondary.

    Qualifications And Experience

    Education : Bachelor’s Degree in Education or any other relevant field.
