Overview
The Pharmacy Lecturer is responsible for delivering high-quality teaching, learning, and assessment in areas related to Pharmacy, while actively engaging in academic development, research, and student support. The role requires a qualified pharmacist with expertise in Pharmacy Practice, Clinical Pharmacy, or Pharmaceutical Technology, and a strong commitment to advancing pharmaceutical education and practice in Malaysia.

Responsibilities
- Teaching and Learning
- Develop, deliver, and assess undergraduate and / or postgraduate pharmacy modules according to programme requirements.
- Ensure effective teaching delivery aligned with Malaysian Qualifications Agency (MQA) and Pharmacy Board Malaysia (LFM) standards.
- Supervise students’ research projects, internships, and clinical placements.
- Incorporate innovative teaching methods and technology-enhanced learning into lesson design.
- Participate in curriculum review, development, and accreditation processes.
- Research and Scholarly Activities
- Engage in scholarly research and contribute to publications, conferences, and academic dissemination.
- Collaborate with colleagues on research grants, consultancy, and community projects related to pharmacy and health sciences.
- Supervise undergraduate and postgraduate research students.
- Student Support and Mentorship
- Provide academic counselling, career guidance, and pastoral care to students.
- Promote a supportive learning environment that encourages student engagement and success.
- Administrative and Quality Assurance
- Participate in departmental meetings, examination boards, and academic committees.
- Contribute to quality assurance, programme monitoring, and institutional audits.
- Maintain accurate student records, reports, and documentation in compliance with institutional policies.
Qualifications and Requirements
Bachelor’s Degree in Pharmacy (recognized by the Pharmacy Board Malaysia).Registered Pharmacist with a valid Annual Practising Certificate (APC).Master’s Degree or PhD in Pharmacy or related discipline (PhD preferred).Fresh graduates who have completed their pharmacy training and registration are welcome to apply.Specialization in one or more of the following areas will be an added advantage :Pharmacy Practice; Clinical Pharmacy; Pharmaceutical Technology; Pharmacology or Pharmacotherapeutics; Pharmaceutical Chemistry or Pharmaceutics.
Strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.Research interest or experience in pharmacy or health sciences (preferred).Core Competencies
