About the Role
We are seeking a highly motivated Business Development Assistant Manager to expand our market presence and drive business growth across Malaysia. This role focuses on identifying new opportunities, building strong customer relationships, and leading a team to achieve sales and business development goals.
Key Responsibilities
Expand assigned territories by identifying and developing new end-user opportunities.Analyze market trends, competitor activities, and potential opportunities; provide timely feedback to management.Plan and execute product demonstrations, events, distributor seminars, and dealer roadshows.Develop and implement business strategies to strengthen engagement with industrial and end-user segments.Collaborate with internal departments to ensure smooth operations and effective execution.Arrange and manage team demonstrations for relevant authority personnel.Oversee manpower allocation for events and product demonstrations.Lead, manage, and support a team of 6 staff.Perform ad hoc assignments as directed by immediate superior.Key Requirements
Must-Have :
Minimum Diploma in a relevant field.At least 5 years of managerial experience, leading a team of 5 or more staff.Proven business development experience in manufacturing, building materials, paint, machinery (agriculture or heavy machinery), or related industries.Strong track record in business development within Malaysia (local market focus).Proficiency in Mandarin, Bahasa Malaysia, and English.Good-to-Have :
Candidates with more extensive experience may be considered for Business Development Manager role.Working Arrangement
