QA Manager – NATURECEUTICALS SDN. BHD.

As the QA Manager, you will play a crucial role in maintaining and enhancing the quality standards of NATURECEUTICALS SDN. BHD.'s manufacturing operations in Sungai Petani, Kedah. This full‑time position requires an experienced quality assurance professional who can lead a team to ensure consistent product quality and compliance with industry regulations.

What you’ll be doing

  • Developing and implementing quality control systems and processes to monitor and improve product quality.
  • Leading a team of quality assurance personnel and overseeing their daily activities.
  • Analysing quality data and production metrics to identify areas for improvement.
  • Collaborating with cross‑functional teams to resolve quality‑related issues.
  • Ensuring compliance with relevant quality standards, industry regulations and internal policies.
  • Providing training and guidance to production staff on quality best practices.
  • Continuously exploring new quality assurance methodologies to enhance the company's operations.

What we’re looking for

  • A minimum of 5 years’ experience in a quality assurance or quality control role, preferably in the manufacturing, pharmaceuticals or traditional medicine sectors.
  • Strong understanding of quality management systems, statistical process control, and root cause analysis techniques.
  • Excellent problem‑solving, critical thinking and decision‑making skills.
  • Proficient in using quality assurance software and data analysis tools.
  • Ability to lead and motivate a team of quality assurance professionals.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with stakeholders.
  • Knowledge of relevant quality standards and regulations (e.g., ISO 9001, PICs GMP, Halal).

    • Quality Assurance – Food Manufacturing

  • Conduct research to develop new products or improve existing ones.
  • Develop and implement quality control procedures to ensure food safety and product quality.
  • Conduct regular inspections and tests on raw materials, in‑process samples, and finished products.
  • Investigate and resolve quality issues, non‑conformances, and customer complaints related to product quality.
  • Maintain documentation related to quality assurance activities.
  • Implement and maintain hygiene and sanitation standards in accordance with food safety regulations (e.g., HACCP).

    • Job Requirements

  • Must possess at least a Diploma or Bachelor in Food Technology or a related field.
  • Relevant work experience in quality control and research & development in the food manufacturing industry.
  • Strong formulation / product formulation skill is required.
  • Knowledge of relevant food manufacturing standards and certifications (e.g., HACCP, GMP, ISO, HALAL, etc.) is preferred.

    • Eligibility Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management or equivalent.
  • Minimum 2–3 years of working experience in QA / QC within the construction industry (experience in landed residential / housing projects is an advantage).
  • Strong understanding of construction drawings, specifications, and quality requirements.
  • Hands‑on experience in site inspections, material testing, and quality control documentation.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and basic project management software.
  • Able to work independently with minimal supervision as well as in a team environment.

    • Your Tasks & Responsibilities

  • To implement and monitor compliance on all policies, activities, procedures and instructions that are relevant and required by ISO 9001 standard as well as the Quality, Safety, Health and Environment (QSHE) management system.
  • To support and provide guidance to project team on ISO 9001 and QA / QC matters.
  • To verify and review contractor’s Project Quality Safety Health and Environment Plan (PQSHEP) and monitor the implementation of the approved PQSHEP.
  • To monitor the routine project's quality assessment and inspection and its records compliance.
  • To monitor and verify the implementation of suitable correction, corrective and preventive actions of the system.
  • To coordinate and liaise with project team in preparation for routine QSHE assessment, QLASSIC assessment and VP inspection of the project.
  • To coordinate with ISO Internal Audit Team on audit process.
  • To carry out any other duties as and when instructed by the Management from time to time.
