About the role

Wezco Sdn Bhd is seeking an experienced Drafter to join our team in Petaling Selangor. As a Drafter, you will play a crucial role in the technical department, responsible for producing accurate and detailed engineering drawings. This is a full-time position offering opportunities for professional growth and development.

What you'll be doing

Interpret engineering specifications and design briefs to create precise technical drawings using CAD software

Produce detailed 2D and 3D drawings, including assembly diagrams, schematics, and part layouts

Collaborate with technical team to ensure drawings accurately reflect design requirements

Maintain and update engineering documentation, including drawing logs and revision histories

Provide support to production and quality control teams by clarifying drawing details and specifications

Stay up-to-date with industry standards, regulations, and best practices related to engineering drafting

What we're looking for

Minimum 3 years of experience as an Engineering Drafter, preferably in a construction field.

Proficient in using CAD software, such as AutoCAD or SolidWorks, to create detailed technical drawings

Strong understanding of engineering principles, tolerances, and industry standards

Excellent attention to detail and the ability to produce accurate and precise drawings

Effective communication skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams

Problem-solving skills to identify and resolve drafting-related issues

Ability to work independently and as part of a team
