Responsibilities
- Oversee the full spectrum of finance operations in Malaysia, including general ledger, accounts receivable / payable, treasury, payroll, and taxation.
- Prepare accurate and timely monthly and annual financial statements for management review and decision-making.
- Perform detailed variance and KPI analysis, delivering financial insights and recommendations to support strategic business decisions.
- Manage cash flow and treasury operations to ensure liquidity and long-term financial sustainability.
- Ensure full compliance with Malaysian statutory, tax, and audit requirements.
- Liaise effectively with external auditors, tax agents, company secretary, and legal advisors to ensure proper governance and compliance.
- Strengthen and maintain a robust internal control framework to safeguard company assets and mitigate financial risks.
- Lead and coordinate audit preparations, ensuring the timely and successful completion of annual audits.
- Collaborate with warehouse and operations teams to maintain accurate stock and inventory records.
- Coordinate with head office on member commission calculations, verification, and payments.
