Responsibilities
Perform and / or review standard analyses such as, in minimum :
Lifting analysis and rigging design for jacket, topside, pile, module, boat landing, riser guard, flare boom, spool, riser, concrete sleeper, concrete mattress frame, etc.
Pile and / or conductor drivability analysis and / or stick-up study for hammer selection.
Hammer selection study and / or structural damage / repair study.
Conductor hang-off study.
Jacket un-piled on-bottom stability analysis.
Installation aids design i.e. rigging and working platform, spreader bar / frame, pull head, A-frame, riser stalk-on extension beam, chute / layover arch, etc.
Sea-fastening and / or tie-down design of structures or pipelines during transportation.
Miscellaneous structural integrity checks i.e. jacket leg integrity check during pipeline start-up, etc.
Design of new / modify work platforms for any purpose on the work barge or material barge i.e. ROV platform, diving platform, etc.
Snatching point check on existing platform during riser / riser guard / boat landing / etc. installation.
Prepare and / or review the standard analyses results and reports or technical notes.
Perform and / or review additional analyses for special cases requirement.
Participate and go offshore for offshore assignments.
Involve directly with internal and external stakeholders onboard company owned vessel or other third party vessel during offshore assignment.
Liaise with internal and external stakeholders with regards to analysis work.
Provide offshore support to all stakeholders and assist engineers during offshore ongoing campaigns.
Attend project and / or tender meetings.
Participate in detailed design engineering during EPCIC contract execution to ensure that T&I input is provided in due course and incorporated during detailed design stage.
Provide mentoring and internal training to junior engineers.
Possess strong analytical skills.
Strong command in English speaking, writing and reporting.
Exhibit good interpersonal and communication skills.
Demonstrate willingness to learn new skills and embrace training and mentorship provided.
Be prepared to spend time offshore on company owned vessels or other third party vessels.
Adopt a positive can do attitude to accelerate learning and provide value to the team.
Ability to work independently and as a team.
Display of good problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
Capable of work smart to meet deadlines.
Demonstrate ability to be the focal point for the discipline in project.
Advance user of Engineering software such as SACS, GRLWeap, Sesam, Abaqus, Ansys, Autocad. Other software such as Orcaflex, MOSES will be added advantage.
Well-verse with international codes and standards i.e. DNV, API, etc.
Well-verse with various MWS requirements and clients’ specifications.
Minimum Job Functions
Support T&I projects and tenders in completing deliverables for T&I Engineering.
Provide review and feedback on engineering deliverables related to T&I engineering.
Understand in depth on company owned assets.
Understand generic T&I operations methodology.
Attend internal and / or external trainings to enhance technical and soft skills.
Experience
Possess at least twelve (12) years total working experience in oil & gas industry; whereby at least ten (10) years should be in transportation and installation.
Qualifications
Possess a Degree in Engineering (Civil or Structural); from recognized Higher Learning Institution.
Registered with Board of Engineers Malaysia (BEM).
