Summary
The role involves providing strategic insights on agrochemical trends, developing cost- effective business plans, building relationships with key stakeholders, leading and motivating the team, achieving sales targets, maintaining a sales pipeline, collaborating with other divisions, and ensuring compliance requiring at least 10 years of experience in business operations / sales, 5 years in management, strong leadership and communication skills, and a deep understanding of the agriculture industry.
Responsibilities
- Provide strategic expertise on agrochemical trends and market dynamics to the management team.
- Strategize and implement cost-effective business plans and market development initiatives specific to agrochemical products.
- Cultivate enduring relationships with key stakeholders in the agriculture sector, including farmers, distributors, regulatory authorities, and industry organizations.
- Lead and motivate the team within to optimize performance and drive growth.
- Set and achieve sales and profit targets on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis.
- Maintain a robust sales pipeline and sustain ongoing orders to meet sales and profit objectives consistently.
- Collaborate closely with other divisions within the company to leverage synergies and address cross-functional challenges.
- Ensure strict adherence to product registration requirements, regulatory standards, and compliance measures governing agriculture chemical products.

Requirements
Minimum 10 years' working experience in business operations / sales and 5 years of management experience in relevant industry (E.g. Agribusiness, Agriculture, FMCG, Retailing or merchandising background).Strong understanding and interest in the agriculture industryLeadership ability coupled with high standards of integrityDemonstrated ability to achieve aggressive profitable sales goalsStrong communication skills and demonstrate ability to professionally inspire, develop and coach team membersExceptional deal closing, selling and negotiation skills across a wide range of sophisticated buyers within competitive marketsProven experiences in managing branches, involved in pricing strategies.Ability to understand and apply market intelligenceProven experience with leading regional team and dealing with digitalization projects are added advantages
