Manage daily cash and bank transactions, ensuring accuracy and security.
Perform bank reconciliations, handle cash deposits, withdrawals, and payments.
Maintain proper records for cash flow tracking and financial reporting.
Oversee cost accounting activities, including cost analysis and variance reporting.
Maintain accurate financial records and bookkeeping for all transactions.
Ensure compliance with accounting standards and internal financial policies.
Maintain and update the fixed asset register.
Calculate depreciation and asset valuation in compliance with accounting policies.
Conduct periodic asset audits to verify asset conditions and values.
Accounts Receivable (AR) & Accounts Payable (AP) Management
Monitor and manage AR & AP functions, ensuring timely processing of transactions.
Follow up on customer payments, credit terms, and outstanding invoices.
Ensure supplier payments are made accurately and in accordance with contracts.
Prepare aging reports and support efforts to minimize bad debts.
Payment Terms Management
Define and monitor payment terms with customers and suppliers to optimize cash flow.
Ensure payment policies align with business objectives and financial regulations.
Negotiate with stakeholders to improve payment conditions and mitigate risks.
Cash Flow Management
Prepare cash flow forecasts to ensure liquidity for business operations.
Monitor daily cash positions, working capital, and financial risks.
Identify cash flow trends and propose strategies to enhance financial efficiency.
Monitor foreign exchange transactions and currency fluctuations.
Ensure compliance with FX policies, banking regulations, and international transactions.
Overseas Branches Accounting Oversight (The initial phase will be on SIST and USST only)
Monitor and consolidate financial data from overseas branches.
Ensure compliance with local accounting regulations and corporate financial policies.
Liaise with overseas finance teams to standardize reporting and accounting procedures.
Assist in managing intercompany transactions, reconciliations, and financial consolidations.
Handling of MYST & USST Accounting and Financial Statement
Supervise the monthly financial report production of overseas subsidiaries, update the profit and loss statement on the CF platform, and report financial figures at the quarterly SIST meeting.
Assist in preparation of financial statement disclosures and coordinate with auditors for quarterly auditing.
Prepare and analyze routine and ad hoc management reports to meet parent company’s reporting and management requirements.
Assist with ad-hoc tasks assigned by the supervisor.
Requirements :
Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
Proficiency in IFRS & SAP financial modules or other ERP systems.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Ability to coordinate with HQ finance teams and management.
