KAYAA is where Malaysia’s biggest creators and everyday people collide in high-energy, social-experiment-style shows.

We want someone who can see the story as it’s happening and make sure our cameras never miss the moment.

The Role :

You’ll be the on-set commander — leading all cameras during live and multi-cam shoots.

You’ll plan, direct, and adapt in real time so every reaction, emotion, and beat is caught from the perfect angle.

You’re not just a videographer — you’re the eyes of the show.

What You’ll Do :

• Own all camera direction on set — plan camera placements, movements, and visual rhythm for each show.
• Lead camera ops (1–4 cams) and call live coverage — anticipate who’s about to cry, laugh, or explode.
• Collaborate with creative & producer team to translate show concepts into visual flow and energy.
• Run floor direction during filming — cue ops, maintain momentum, and adapt quickly when chaos happens.
• Plan shot lists & setups for each episode : story beats, audience POV, b-roll coverage.
• Manage technical flow — lighting direction, sound coordination, and ensuring footage syncs cleanly for edit.
• Debrief post-shoot with editors — ensure all story beats are captured and clearly labelled.
