Responsible for the fully automated optical inspection development process for machine vision products, including development, optical design and test strategy, release of new optical methods for machine vision products, and benchmarking of components.
Responsibilities
- Perform sample evaluation to study machine vision / system integration feasibility.
- Integrate and configure machine vision related hardware such as lighting, controllers, cameras, lenses, and optics.
- Responsible for software testing on products developed prior to final release to customer.
- Collect & analyze data to derive cause and effect of manufacturing problems. Recommend methods to fix potential problems.
- Responsible for installing and fine-tuning vision inspection systems at the factory and at customer sites.
- Work as a team in providing support to production team for machine build issues related to vision.
- Assist in improving the software testing process.
Job Requirements
Candidates must possess at least a Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (Electronics / Mechatronics / Computers / Optics / Photonics) or Bachelor's, Degree in Science (Physics / Mathematics) or Computer Sciences or any other fields.Experience with optics & lighting systems.Responsible, able to work independently, initiative, and good interpersonal skill.Creative thinking, strong problem solving and troubleshooting capabilities.Ability to coordinate and implement customer’s specifications.Possess analytical and problem-solving skills.Candidate with programming background would be an added advantage.Familiarity with Wafer AOI Inspection will be an advantage.Able to travel locally and overseas.Seniority level
