We are currently seeking ambitious individuals to join our Wealth and Personal Banking (WPB) team in the role of Client Engagement Executive working together with colleagues to display HSBC Values and achieve Vision to become the world’s leading international Bank.

  • Focus on identifying prospects, executing acquisition activities such as roadshow or events, and ensuring quality on‑boarding to achieve individual and team sales targets.
  • Required to cross‑sell retail banking products such as credit cards, borrowing and mortgage referrals.
  • Achieve performance expectations and contribute toward the Retail business in line with IWPB strategic direction.
  • Support and engage in roadshows or events including approaching prospect leads for acquisition to deliver overall sales results.
  • Proactively work with Managers and Team Leader Customer Acquisition to plan, execute and optimise sales activities, ensuring alignment with business priorities.
  • Champion and drive a culture that supports the HSBC branded customer experience.
  • Provide quality after‑sales engagement to strengthen long‑term relationships.

Qualifications – External

  • Min Diploma in any field or equivalent sales experience.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to engage with customers effectively.
  • Proven ability to work under pressure and meet sales KPIs in a fast‑paced environment.
  • High level of self‑discipline, accountability and willingness to learn from mistakes to avoid repeated errors.
  • Demonstrated experience in acquiring affluent segment with strong products knowledge in Cards, Loan and Borrowing products.
  • Multilingual ability (English, Bahasa Malaysia and / or Mandarin) to cater to diverse customer segments.
  • Willing to work in shift rotation.
