Responsibilities

• Supervise functional financial accounting activities including reviewing journal entries and reporting
• Responsible for the timely and accurate monthly close processes and day-to-day operations for global entities in accordance with US GAAP while ensuring accurate maintenance of statutory financials
• Ensure effective internal controls are in place and compliance with GAAP and applicable international and local regulatory laws and rules for financial and tax reporting
• Ensure SOX compliance by adhering to internal control requirements, maintaining updated documentation, and providing recommendations, as appropriate
• Identify and highlight any risks / fraud and mitigate with proper controls and solutions
• Lead and drive process improvement, automation, and standardization and other assigned projects / tasks
• Proactively engage with partners to resolve challenges and recommend solutions, improvement where necessary
• Coach and mentor team members
• Establish and maintain cooperative and productive work relationships
• Establish plans and objectives for the functional group and at organization level for Global Finance Center of Excellence

Qualifications

Education & Experience Required

10 years of experience in Finance, Accounting and Reporting; high-tech industry

5 years in leadership role
