Network / Senior Network Engineer

Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced

Network / Senior Network Engineer

to support critical IT infrastructure operations and ensuring seamless network security and availability in line with agreed SLAs. Key Responsibilities

Manage, configure, and support

Cisco network devices, Checkpoint & Fortigate Firewalls, routers, switches, F5 / Foundry / Radware load balancers, DNS, SDN, IPAM, Wireless, Tacacs, and VPN solutions . Configure, test, and maintain

LAN / WAN equipment

and related services to ensure network reliability and performance. Monitor and maintain network infrastructure proactively to maximize

availability and performance . Adhere to

ITSM / ITIL practices

(Change, Incident, Problem & Service Request management). Perform incident response,

root cause analysis , and implement timely resolutions. Work closely with network teams to

design, upgrade, and optimize

network infrastructure with minimal disruption. Maintain accurate

network documentation

(diagrams, configurations, SOPs). Coordinate with

vendors and service providers

for equipment procurement, support, and troubleshooting. Stay updated with the latest

network security technologies, trends, and best practices , and recommend improvements. Provide

technical support and guidance

to internal teams on network-related issues. Monitor system performance and implement

corrective actions

to enhance service levels. Support

business continuity

through backup, restore, and disaster recovery planning. What We’re Looking For

Proven hands-on experience in

network security engineering

with expertise in F5, Cisco, and firewall technologies. Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills with a proactive mindset. Familiarity with

ITIL / ITSM frameworks . Excellent collaboration and communication skills. Skills for Success

A Degree in Computer Science / IT or equivalent A minimum of 3-5 years’ experience as a Network Engineer with

strong hands-on troubleshooting experience in F5 Load Balancer, Firewalls, IDS / IPS, Cisco ISE and Cisco Wireless

is a mandatory requirement for this role Knowledge and expertise in LAN / WAN and Firewall are a strong advantage Strong technical competency with recognized professional certifications in either Network & Security or Systems domain Able to be on standby 24x7 and 12-hour shift rotation Seniority level
