About The Team

Global Fraud Solutions : The team provides decision support solutions to address business objectives in risk prevention and fraud detection. We deliver software solutions and offer client support using our expertise and a client-focused approach.

The Role

The Engineering Manager - Global Fraud Solutions will lead Engineering squads and take responsibility for the overall development, delivery, and maintenance of GFS solutions. Working with the Sr. Engineering Manager and CTPO, you will be collaborating with the Product and Business stakeholders to define, prioritize, and execute the Product roadmap and priorities.

What You Will Do

• Technically support and maintain the products under your care.
• Focus on the quality and speed of delivery for the technology changes required to enable business initiatives, leading a team of high-calibre software developers.
• Provide thought-leadership during the feasibility, analysis, and prioritization process to ensure the optimal initiatives are prioritized and technology investments are maximized.
• In partnership with our product team, define independent slices of value that make up the product backlog, prioritized by customer value, documented in a way that allows engineers to clearly understand what is needed, why, and how success will be measured.
• Proactively resolve structural, cultural, process, and organizational issues both within and outside of the team.
• Work with the Technical and Solution Architecture team to align specific solution designs with the target end-state architecture, balancing strategic and tactical priorities.
• Provide leadership to assist in the creation and maintenance of a high-performing, agile team.
• Ensure that dependencies and risks in the domain are understood and effectively managed.
• Create and maintain a technical roadmap for the assigned domain including technical debt.
• Help your team solve complex technical problems as you build the platform.
• Taking ownership of production incidents and following problems through to resolution.
• Coach and mentor team members and support their career progression goals.
• Review code and provide technical mentorship to engineers.
• Stay updated with emerging technologies and recommend adoption where appropriate.
• Guide architectural decisions and ensure alignment with engineering best practices.
• Recruit, onboard, and retain top engineering talent.
• Conduct regular performance reviews and career development discussions.
