The Service Desk Engineer is the first point of contact for clients seeking assistance and / or support for any IT related issues or requests via telephone or email. He / she serves as a member of the Service Desk team by assigning the right IT group to provide technical support to the client. He / she is a member of the Managed Services Business Unit(MSBU) and will report to the Service Desk Team Lead.
Responsibilities :
- Primary responsibility is 1st level assistance to Japanese or China clients on IT related support and enquiries.
- Respond to assigned tickets, emails, calls and / or voicemail.
- Follow standard Service Desk Support Operating Procedures; accurately logging all Service Desk tickets using the defined tracking software.
- Translate Japanese or Mandarin document into English and vice versa
- Attend all training sessions.
- Be familiar with support policies and services.
- Be familiar with the operational and technical departments of key customers.
- Other duties as assigned by the Service Desk Manager and Team Leaders.
Requirements :
Friendly presence and helpful attitude; good interpersonal skills and ability to work well with others.Ability to utilize the applications for Microsoft Office for support, reporting and documentation.Ability to provide support via the phone; good phone skills, professional demeanor, previous client service experience (especially in Sales) strongly desired.Good in client service oriented with good communication and interpersonal skills in Japanese and English to customers and team members.Must believe in teamwork, collaboration, adaptability and initiative.Able to takes initiative, accepts accountability and has a sense of urgency.Proficiency in both spoken and written Japanese or Mandarin and English is a must have.You may submit your application below or send us an email directly quoting the job title to
