As a Senior Security Officer, you will supervise Security personnel on assigned shifts to ensure compliance with policies and procedures.

• Function as primary on-center contact for on-duty supervisors, law enforcement agencies, and other on-duty staff for immediate response to situations requiring Safety and Security staff attention.
• Make physical inspections and security checks of grounds and facility and document results.
• Perform safety / security officer duties and provide supervision to staff to protect life and property against theft, vandalism, misappropriation, fire, flood, or similar disaster.
• Inform the Safety / Security Manager or designee of anything that warrants immediate attention.
• Investigate incidents on center and provide clear and accurate reports.
• Control disturbances and assist staff in de-escalating situations.
• Complete required security logs, documentation, and records accurately and on time.
• Log employees, visitors, vendors, and students as they enter and exit the center.
• Adhere to safety practices in all areas of responsibility.
• Foster and sustain a conducive environment, ensuring it remains free from harassment, intimidation, and disrespect.
• Attend all required staff training opportunities.
