About the role

GINKLY M&E ENGINEERING SDN BHD' is seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer to join our team in Johor Bahru, Johor. In this full-time role, you will be responsible for providing technical expertise and oversight for the electrical engineering aspects of our engineering projects.

What you'll be doing

  • Design, develop and oversee the implementation of electrical systems and components for a variety of engineering projects
  • Conduct site inspections, troubleshoot issues and provide technical support to ensure the successful delivery of projects
  • Analyse data, prepare technical reports and maintain detailed documentation throughout the project lifecycle
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate electrical engineering solutions into broader project plans
  • Stay up-to-date with industry standards, regulations and best practices in electrical engineering
  • Mentor and provide guidance to more junior members of the engineering team

What we're looking for

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field
  • Minimum 3 years of experience as an Electrical Engineer, preferably in the engineering / construction industry
  • Strong technical expertise in electrical system design, including power distribution, control systems and automation
  • Proficient in interpreting and applying relevant electrical codes, standards and safety regulations
  • Excellent problem-solving, critical thinking and decision-making skills
  • Strong communication and collaboration abilities to work effectively with cross-functional teams
  • Familiarity with project management principles and the ability to work to tight deadlines
