The purpose of this role is to repair and maintain MacGregor product range, plus 3rd party deck machinery as needed, ensuring work is carried out efficiently, accurately, and professionally. You will support management and the rest of the organization and contribute to service goals and budgets. You will ensure all activities comply with the Integrated Management System (IMS), QHSE, and other MacGregor standards, and provide technical support to sales through proposals and customer visits. The position is based in MacGregor’s office in Selangor, Malaysia, reporting directly to the Operations Manager. Responsibilities

Carry out day-to-day service activities as specified, including refurbishment, upgrades, inspections, preventative maintenance, and corrective actions on MacGregor Deck Machinery and similar equipment. Provide information and write reports as required. Establish and maintain good relationships with internal and external stakeholders. Stay updated with developments and processes related to MacGregor's major customers. Co-operate with the MacGregor service network. Comply with safety and quality requirements and follow site safety rules, working practices, and environmental requirements. Recognize service and sales opportunities and communicate them to the relevant persons. Support sales activities such as follow-up on leads and quotes while on site, as agreed with the sales responsible. Be aware of department profitability and manage subcontractors as needed. Be prepared to work irregular hours for vessel schedules and travel on short notice. Follow vessels on voyages as required. What You’ll Need To Succeed

We are looking for a solutions-oriented, customer-focused, collaborative individual with strong communication skills. Technical education or similar relevant experience Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar industry Experience in the marine industry with deck machinery (DM) experience; electrical and hydraulic knowledge is preferable Proficient in both written and spoken English Why MacGregor
