About the role
Pecca Leather Sdn Bhd, a leading leather upholstery manufacturer in Automotive and Aviation industry, is seeking an exceptional Brand Manager to join their dynamic team. In this full-time, office-based role in Kepong, Kuala Lumpur, you will be responsible for developing and executing innovative brand strategies to drive the newly set up Pecca's business, The Car Alchemist Sdn Bhd.
What you'll be doing
- Lead the development of marketing campaigns and assets, from planning to execution, within budget and timeline.
- Work with brand agencies to shape brand strategy, positioning, and creative direction (voice, tone, design).
- Oversee and evaluate creative concepts and executions to ensure they align with brand identity.
- Build and grow an in-house marketing team to support long-term brand development.
- Provide strategic guidance to retail and sales teams to ensure effective campaign rollout.
- Manage and review all brand touchpoints including marketing materials, events, digital platforms, and retail outlets.
- Ensure brand consistency across stores, facilities, and online presence.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver insightful and impactful brand campaigns.
- Support the MD with business cases, project briefs, and brand initiatives for approvals.
- Continuously review, improve, and innovate brand strategies to stay competitive and relevant in the market.
What we're looking for
Job Requirements
Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Communications, Design or a related field.Minimum 7 years' experience in brand marketing, brand governance, design, or training in a corporate or creative agency environment.Proven track record in leading integrated marketing campaigns (digital, social, print, video, events, etc.).Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to engage and inspire all levels, including senior management.Excellent presentation, facilitation, and project management skills; able to manage multiple priorities with attention to detail.Hands-on experience in managing agencies, vendors, and direct reports.Knowledge of various communication channels including digital, social media, print, video, and brand environments.Strong leadership with the ability to build, mentor, and guide a marketing team.Positive energy, creativity, and a passion for branding that can be felt internally and externally.B2C experience is required, preferably in industries with strong customer engagement.Added Advantage
