What will you be engaged in?
As our new Lead, People and Workplace Operations you will have the opportunity to
People Management
- Develop and oversee People strategies, policies, and procedures aligned with SOCAR’s values and culture.
- Partner with department heads on workforce planning, talent acquisition, industrial relations, and employee engagement.
- Advise leadership on organizational design, job structures, and workforce optimization.
- Manage and oversee payroll processing in collaboration with assigned vendors.
- Manage HR budgets, staffing costs, and HRMS databases, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
- Manage the full employee life cycle, ensuring consistent and positive employee experiences.
- Provide employees with guidance and support on HR‑related topics such as leave, benefits, and entitlements.
- Address work‑related issues promptly to maintain employee satisfaction and motivation.
- Lead recruitment by managing assigned vendors.
Industrial Relations & Employee Relations
Manage industrial relations and employee grievances, ensuring fair, timely, and compliant resolution of issues.Handle disciplinary and misconduct cases in line with labor laws and company policies.Lead the maintenance, development, and implementation of company policies and procedures by working with assigned legal vendors.Update and manage the Company Staff Book to reflect current practices and regulations.Ensure full compliance with Malaysian labor laws and regulatory standards.Establish clear governance processes for policy enforcement and employee communication.Workplace Management
Lead office operations to ensure smooth day‑to‑day functioning, efficiency, and safety.Manage service provider contracts, including office leasing, security, cleaning, parking, and catering.Ensure compliance with workplace safety, environmental, and regulatory standards.Are you the ideal candidate?

At least 5 years of relevant experience in the Human Resources field.At least a Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources or the equivalent.Proficient in using GSuite (GSheet, GSlide, GDoc).Excellent English written and oral skills.Must have a collaborative approach to problem‑solving and be able to work under pressure, with tight deadlines.Excellent oral and written communication skills, including presentation skills.What will we offer you?
