Piktochart is a web-based graphic design platform that empowers users to create professional-grade visuals, including infographics, presentations, and videos, without the need for extensive design experience. Founded in 2011, Piktochart has grown into a global team of developers, designers, marketers, and support staff dedicated to building the best visual storytelling tool on the internet. Location (Remote) : APAC or EU.

Job Overview

We\'re looking for a UX / UI Designer who is experienced in creating an end-to-end experience for the users that will leverage both the business goals and engage our users simultaneously. You will collaborate with engineers and graphic designers to build and maintain Piktochart\'s multifaceted web application. You will deliver end-to-end solutions that prioritize user experience and user interface best practices while keeping company goals in mind. Responsibilities include running user interviews and research, defining the problem, wireframes, user flows, high-fidelity UI design, and solving complex problems that can be implemented by engineers. You will identify real user needs, conceptualize and deliver actual user experiences that balance user needs with business goals. You will report to the Head of UX.

What Your Work Will Entail

Define the product experience – From wireframes to prototypes, create intuitive and elegant solutions that simplify complex user challenges.
Act as the user advocate – Conduct research, lead user testing sessions, and ensure the product roadmap aligns with both user needs and business objectives.
Conceptualize and design engaging UX solutions – Generate innovative design ideas, develop detailed user flows, and collaborate closely with engineering to bring designs to life.
Ensure seamless execution – Oversee implementation with clear documentation, usability testing, and continuous iteration based on feedback and data insights.

What You Bring To This Role

5+ years of experience in UX / UI design, preferably within SaaS or web applications.

Strong ability to identify user pain points and transform them into seamless, intuitive experiences.

Deep understanding of user-centered design principles and their impact on business success.

Expertise in ideation techniques, enabling quick generation and refinement of original design concepts.

Ability to work independently and prioritize effectively in a fast-moving environment with tight deadlines.

Collaborative mindset, ensuring smooth coordination across design, product, and engineering teams.
