Post-doctoral Fellow / Senior Research Assistant in the Faculty of Education (Ref. )

Department : Faculty of Education | Work type : Full‑time | Start : Commence from November 1, 2025 (or as soon as possible) | Duration : One year, renewable upon satisfactory performance.

Qualifications

• Doctoral or master’s degree in Education, Learning Sciences, Psychology, Computer Science, or a related discipline.
• Strong background in technology‑enhanced learning and assessment, AI in education, or learning analytics.
• Familiarity with theories of self‑ and socially‑shared regulated learning, digital literacy frameworks, and the role of generative AI in human learning.
• Experience in innovative statistical methods (e.g. multiple linear regression, mediation analysis, mixed‑effect models, process mining, epistemic network analysis, cluster analysis).
• Proficiency in managing and analysing large datasets; experience with generative AI tools for research.
• Excellent academic writing skills in English (Chinese desirable).
• Strong organisational skills; ability to work independently and collaboratively within a tight schedule.
• PhD candidates in the final stages may be considered for the Senior Research Assistant track.
