Post-doctoral Fellow / Senior Research Assistant in the Faculty of Education (Ref. )
Department : Faculty of Education | Work type : Full‑time | Start : Commence from November 1, 2025 (or as soon as possible) | Duration : One year, renewable upon satisfactory performance.
Qualifications
- Doctoral or master’s degree in Education, Learning Sciences, Psychology, Computer Science, or a related discipline.
- Strong background in technology‑enhanced learning and assessment, AI in education, or learning analytics.
- Familiarity with theories of self‑ and socially‑shared regulated learning, digital literacy frameworks, and the role of generative AI in human learning.
- Experience in innovative statistical methods (e.g. multiple linear regression, mediation analysis, mixed‑effect models, process mining, epistemic network analysis, cluster analysis).
- Proficiency in managing and analysing large datasets; experience with generative AI tools for research.
- Excellent academic writing skills in English (Chinese desirable).
- Strong organisational skills; ability to work independently and collaboratively within a tight schedule.
- PhD candidates in the final stages may be considered for the Senior Research Assistant track.
Responsibilities
Design and develop research instruments.Collect, manage, analyse and interpret data, including advanced analytics.Prepare manuscripts for peer‑review journals and books.Collaborate with schools, professional bodies and stakeholders to facilitate data collection.Support preparation of research proposals for external funding.Assist in administrative and dissemination activities.Benefits
