As our Senior Logistic Supervisor you’ll support HID’s success by :
Summary
- Overseeing inbound and outbound logistics operations to ensure inventory accuracy, timely delivery and regulatory compliance.
- Managing import / export documentation, customs regulations and freight cost optimisation.
- Developing, maintaining and implementing SOPs for logistics and warehouse functions.
- Leading the Warehouse & Logistics teams and promoting continuous improvement, safety and high performance.
Responsibilities
Lead the Warehouse & Logistics teams and oversee the complete process for all inbound and outbound materials.Ensure inventory accuracy through regular cycle counts, stock reconciliations and inventory audits.Conduct monthly stock takes and manage SLOB inventory to minimise waste.Collaborate with the EHS team for safe and compliant disposal of scheduled waste.Manage end‑to‑end import and export documentation and RFQ tendering processes.Develop and enforce Standard Operating Procedures, ensuring compliance and high performance.Ensure on‑time, in‑full pickups and deliveries to meet service level expectations.Support customs and regulatory audits by maintaining accurate documentation.Assist in monthly management reports, including cost analysis and KPI tracking.Promote a safe working environment and zero‑accident culture.Maintain departmental KPIs and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.Participate in ongoing training and ensure all staff complete GPS training.Stay updated on industry trends, regulatory updates and best practices.Qualifications
10+ years of warehouse operations experience, including 3 years of freight buying.3+ years of managing operational teams and reporting to senior management.Proven people manager with a track record of process improvement.Knowledge of compliance with MITI, MIDA, Customs and SIRIM regulations is an advantage.Strong analytical, multi‑tasking and proactive skills.Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.Education
Required : Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent work experience.Language Skills
Proficient in English and Bahasa (verbal and written).Computer Skills
Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).Experience with ERP databases, including Oracle.Work Environment
Moderate noise levels and exposure to moderate physical activity typical of warehouse settings.
