Our client operates as a trusted international shared service center, providing comprehensive finance, legal, and administrative support to manufacturing businesses globally.
As part of ongoing expansion and process improvement initiatives, they are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive GL Accountant to join their team.
Role Overview :
- This is a key role responsible for managing all accounting activities, ensuring data accuracy, and liaising with internal and external stakeholders.
- The GL Accountant will maintain financial integrity, uphold reporting standards, and support seamless accounting operations, with specific focus on fixed assets, master data, and audit processes.
- Maintain and monitor the general ledger, ensuring accuracy and completeness of entries.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual closing activities, including P&L and balance sheet reporting.
- Perform reconciliations for intercompany accounts, bank accounts, and balance sheet accounts.
- Support internal and external audit processes.
- Assist with tax compliance, accruals, and journal entries.
- Identify process improvements and assist with system enhancements to optimize GL operations.
- Collaborate with regional and global finance teams to ensure consistent financial reporting.
Requirements :
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.2–5 years of accounting experience with strong focus on general ledger and month-end close.Solid understanding of accounting principles, financial reporting, and internal controls.Detail-oriented, organized, and able to work under tight deadlines.Good communication skills and ability to work with cross-functional and global teams.We are an equal opportunities employer and welcome applications from all qualified candidates.
