Responsibilities

  • Prepare management reports and statutory reports and ensure compliance with Internal SOP, Securities Commission’s Guideline on REIT, Trust Deed, Listing Requirements, MRFS and Generally Accepted Accounting Standards.
  • Plan and manage the work of Finance staff to ensure accuracy and timeliness of account closing by 2 working days after calendar month end.
  • Review tenancy information entered into the Accounting and Tenancy Management System to ensure accurate and complete billings are generated.
  • Liaise and coordinate with external auditor, tax agent, bankers and local authorities to ensure compliance with related requirements and regulations.
  • Assist finance team in resolving discrepancies to ensure tenant satisfaction.
  • Coordinate with relevant stakeholders within the company for the timely submission and compilation of Monthly Management Report.
  • Plan and manage the Finance Team to ensure timely and quality reporting of Management Reports and financial statements to relevant stakeholders within the Group.

Job Requirement

  • Possess Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting / Finance or equivalent qualifications and background.
  • Member of the Malaysian Institute of Accountants is an added advantage.
  • At least 4–5 years of work experience with expertise in Accounting Standards and Regulatory Compliance.
  • Knowledge of REIT industry and experience in using a property management system.
  • Understanding of applicable accounting standards.
  • Understanding of regulatory requirements by Bursa and the Securities Commission.
  • Proficient in MS Excel, MS PowerPoint and accounting systems.
  • Good understanding of financial reports and data literacy (data and financial analysis).
  • Proficient in both written and spoken English, with good interpersonal and communication skills – ability to communicate with all levels (internal & external).
