IT Business Analyst – SAP Sales & Distribution

We are looking for a passionate IT Business Analyst with experience in SAP Sales & Distribution to join us. You will shape our sales and marketing processes on a multi-ERP SAP landscape – SAP S / 4 HANA, SAP S / 4 HANA Public Cloud, and SAP Business ByDesign. You will join Hilti Global IT in one of our strategic locations : PJ, Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, and work with an international, cross-functional team to define and implement future processes. You will gather information from stakeholders and translate business requirements into technical implementations with a focus on Sales Order Processing. You will work on projects related to business process harmonization and optimization and be part of the ongoing migration of SAP Business ByDesign to SAP S / 4HANA Public Cloud.

What does the role involve?

As an IT Business Analyst in Marketing and Sales IT, you will evaluate and translate business requirements into value-adding solutions for Hilti’s customers.

You will collaborate with the product owner, software engineers, and business counterparts to gather and define requirements to develop long-term solutions in alignment with company strategy, driving customer engagement within a direct sales environment.
You will apply your detailed understanding of business processes in marketing and sales to configure and customize requirements in SAP S / 4 HANA, SAP S / 4HANA Public Cloud, and SAP Business ByDesign.
You will support and troubleshoot issues reported by global and regional key users.
You will be part of a motivated, international team.

What you need

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Information Management, Software Engineering, Computer Science, or related fields.

At least 6 years of experience as an IT Business Analyst, Functional Consultant, or similar role.

4+ years of hands-on experience in SAP S / 4HANA SD module. Experience in SAP Business ByDesign or SAP S / 4HANA Public Cloud is a plus.

Good understanding of business processes in sales and marketing in a globally operating enterprise.

Ability to communicate complex concepts to both non-technical and technical audiences in English (verbal and written).

Strong analytical, problem-solving, interpersonal, and convincing skills.
