Position Summary :
The role is responsible for leading business development, sales and operational management for the Malaysia branch, ensuring alignment with Everok Group's strategic goals and headquarters directives. This position serves as the primary liaison between the company and local stakeholders, while overseeing internal teams to ensure compliance, efficiency, and business growth.
Key Responsibilities :
- Develop and implement business development and sales strategies to achieve branch sales KPIs and management objectives.
- Manage and maintain relationships with local carriers, airlines, suppliers, and booking agents. Ensure adherence to directives from headquarters and establish effective internal control mechanisms.
- Build and lead the branch's business development team, plan and coordinate sales initiatives, and collaborate with headquarters to manage both sales and operations teams.
- Oversee daily operational and administrative functions of the branch to ensure efficiency and compliance.
- Act as the primary liaison between Everok Group and local customers, partners and agents
What Will Make You Successful :
Bachelor's degree or higher, with a minimum of 5 - 7 years' experience in sales and team management within the freight forwarding industry.Strong knowledge of the local logistics, export, and import markets. Candidates with an extensive network and existing customer base in the logistics industry are highly preferred.Possess keen market insight, excellent organizational and management abilities, strong communication skills, and a collaborative team spirit.Strong understanding of the digital freight forwarding landscape and its developments.Demonstrates a high level of responsibility, integrity and professionalism in work and relationships.Good command of spoken and written English.
