Responsibilities
- Develop strong relationships and partnerships with existing customers to generate sustainable sales results and identify new business opportunities.
- Identify key areas of opportunity to capture market share.
- Act as a consultant in the sales approach, proposing appropriate solutions that meet prospect and customer objectives and needs.
- Articulate the value proposition to customers and resolve any inquiries quickly.
- Uphold strong performance of the business unit in terms of volume and profitability.
- Work cross‑functionally with customer service, operations and technical teams to question the status quo and continually improve customer experience and product quality.
- Understand and adhere to risk and compliance guidelines strictly.
- Handle customer complaints, product technical complaints and adverse events quickly and professionally in accordance with company procedures.
- Act as the point of contact to convey customer sentiment and accurately brief the production team leaders on requirements.
- Respond swiftly to inquiries regarding customer payments or new account set‑ups.
- Develop and maintain a sound knowledge of the rigid packaging industry in Malaysia, including competitor analysis, industry trends and new products in the market.
