Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in engineering or equivalent.
Experience : Minimum 3 years of working experience in a manufacturing environment.
Prior experience in the EMS (Electronics Manufacturing Services) and PCBA (Printed Circuit Board Assembly) industry is preferred.
Skills : Proficiency in reading and interpreting engineering drawings.
Understanding of product design and design processes.
Ability to identify and design process-related tools.
Troubleshooting skills for daily production-related issues.
Experience implementing new methods / processes for efficient production.
Focus on cycle time reduction and process quality improvement.
Knowledge of ISO 9001 QMS (Quality Management System).
Familiarity with AutoCAD is an added advantage.
Ability to communicate in Mandarin is an added advantage.

Job Responsibilities

Set up and commission new production lines.

Collaborate with customers during the New Product Introduction (NPI) phase.

Solve product and process quality issues.

Drive process improvements in quality, cost, and delivery.

Manage day-to-day manufacturing engineering operations.

Develop and maintain Work Instructions (WI) and Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) for production lines.

Evaluate and select engineering solutions for process and machinery issues.

Set up new production processes, including control plans and FMEA (Failure Mode and Effects Analysis).

Troubleshoot quality, cost, and delivery-related issues for continuous improvement.

Implement and maintain a safe, productive work environment.

Interface with production teams on new process implementations and transfers.

Oversee the introduction of new process equipment into production.

Ensure compliance with ISO QMS requirements.

Communicate with customers regarding product / process quality issues and yield improvement.

Maintain a clean and safe working area in accordance with 5S principles.

Perform any additional tasks as assigned by the company.

Achieve and maintain KPIs as set by the company.
