Services Sales Leader, GSI APAC

Location : GE Vernova, Kuala Lumpur, Federal Territory of Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia

Join GE Vernova as a Services Sales Leader for Grid Systems Integration (GSI) in the APAC region. You will be responsible for the overall growth of GSI service business, including Long Term Service Agreements (LTSA), refurbishment services, brown field projects, across HVDC, FACTS, and other AC transmission systems.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute strategies to maximize profitable growth for GSI services opportunities across APAC.
  • Ensure alignment of sales, cash, and commercial objectives to achieve financial targets.
  • Provide comprehensive market insights, segment analysis, and trend assessment for the Services market.
  • Translate market opportunities into concrete commercial action plans and maintain pipeline.
  • Collaborate with sales and tendering teams to drive demand creation and early-stage engagement with customers.
  • Handle Requests for Information (RFIs) and support commercial business development activities.
  • Prioritize service opportunities based on profitability, cash flow, risk, and pipeline alignment.
  • Lead, mentor, and coach service teams to deliver outcomes and knowledge upgrade.
  • Prepare and validate forecasts for revenue, profit, and PMR in monthly / quarterly meetings.
  • Manage cash, deferred charges, retention, and collect dues.
  • Ensure strong customer connections and support repeat business generation.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree with at least 12 years of relevant experience in HVDC / FACTS or AC transmission systems.
  • Extensive commercial, sales, and / or marketing experience.
  • Proven P&L management experience, focusing on revenue, profitability, EHS, and compliance.
  • Knowledge of Energy & Industry market.
  • Customer‑centric mindset able to translate customer needs into profitable solutions.
  • Exceptional negotiation and leadership skills.
  • Strategic thinker with ability to translate business challenges into opportunities.
  • Self‑starter, team player with a can‑do attitude across all business cycles.
  • Experience working with multicultural teams and remote relationships.
  • Functional leadership experience leading by influence.
