Job Description :

  • Reading and interpreting technical blueprints and design models.
  • Adjust machine cutting paths or settings to optimize production while maintaining quality.
  • Consider tools required to cut particular materials and program machines accordingly.
  • Assist in the design of jigs, tools, fixtures, and special equipment for CNC applications.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve problems with machines as they arise.
  • Carry out in-process measurements, maintain product quality.
  • Guidance for a junior-level CNC machinist to complete the job efficiently.
  • Responsible for material wastage control, manufacturing cost reduction, and compliance with safety requirements.
  • Meet aggressive deadlines while working under pressure, dedicated to building high-quality deliverables.
  • Self-task management and progress report.
  • Good communication skills and ability to lead subordinates and work in a team.

Job Requirement :

  • Candidate must possess at least a Professional Certificate, Diploma / Advanced / Higher / Graduate Diploma in Engineering (Mechanical), Engineering (Mechatronic / Electromechanical), Engineering (Metal Fabrication / Tool & Die / Welding), or equivalent.
  • At least 2 Years of working experience in the related field.
  • Required language(s) : Bahasa Malaysia, English, Mandarin.
  • Candidates who are fluent in Mandarin are preferred because the role requires candidates to interact with Mandarin-speaking clients
  • Candidates with relevant experience in metal fabrication, semi-con industry, and Precision Engineering background will be an advantage.
  • Preferably CNC Milling Machine background.
  • Capable of generating CNC Milling Programme using Mastercam 2018 Software.
  • Able to hands-on operate the CNC machine (if requested).
  • Good understanding of GD & T.
  • Capable of using Height Gauge, Caliper, Micrometer, Pin Gauge, and other common measuring equipment.
  • Able to perform overtime work when needed.
